Usage and maintenance: The brushes and commutators of the DC motor of electric forklifts are severely worn, so they need to be replaced frequently; AC motors do not have brushes or commutators, making maintenance relatively convenient. In the long run, the maintenance cost of electric forklifts is also lower for AC motors, so AC motors are increasingly being used by electric forklifts.
