Micro Magnetic Gear Pump Motors
Greensky precision motors deliver leak-free, contamination-free fluid transfer for chemical, medical and food-grade applications — compact, efficient, and built for 24/7 duty.

What Is a Micro Magnetic Gear Pump?
A magnetically driven gear pump uses a sealed, static isolation shell to transfer torque from the motor to the pump rotor through magnetic coupling — eliminating the dynamic shaft seal that is the #1 source of leaks. Greensky pairs this pump head with brushless DC, micro AC, closed-loop stepper, or brushed + gearbox motors to match your duty cycle.
Brushless DC (BLDC)
Best efficiency and lifespan for continuous duty; 24–48 V, 10–400 W, fully controllable speed.
View productMicro AC Motor
Simple, robust, mains-powered; ideal for fixed-speed lab and process equipment.
View productClosed-loop Stepper
Precise dosing and repeatable flow without a flow meter; 1.8°/0.9° step, no drift.
View productBrushed DC + Gearbox
Cost-effective high-torque option for intermittent, lower-duty cycles.
View productHow the Magnetic Drive Works
Motor drives outer magnet
The motor shaft rotates a permanent-magnet ring outside the sealed shell.
Field crosses the shell
The magnetic field passes through the static isolation shell with no physical contact.
Inner magnet turns rotor
An inner magnet ring couples and rotates the pump gear set.
Gears displace fluid
Meshing gears move fluid from the inlet to the outlet at a fixed displacement.
Zero leak by design
No shaft penetration means no dynamic seal — eliminating the main leak path.

Sizing the motor power
Use hydraulic power to size the drive:
P (W) ≈ T (N·m) × n (rpm) ÷ 9.55 ÷ η
Example: 0.3 N·m at 3000 rpm, η = 0.7 → P ≈ 0.3 × 3000 ÷ 9.55 ÷ 0.7 ≈ 135 W. Choose GS-BL240 (60–150 W).
3-step selection method
- Define flow & pressure → pick a pump head (Table 2).
- Calculate required torque at rated speed → size motor power.
- Confirm environment (media, temp, IP, Ex) → choose motor series (Table 1).

The motor never touches the pumped fluid — torque crosses the shell magnetically.
Gear meshing displaces fluid from inlet to outlet at a fixed displacement per revolution.
Flow scales linearly with speed; peak efficiency sits at 60–90% of rated speed.
Compact footprint for bench-top and skid-mounted systems; custom lengths on request.
