DIFFICUTY
- The allocated space for the motor within the customer’s robot is quite limited. Given the smaller motor diameter, it is essential for the motor to fulfill the customer’s demanding power (800W) en koppel (100Nm) specifications.
- The motor products must also adhere to rigorous standards, including ensuring a long service life and preventing any spark generation during operation. Aanvullend, the motor’s protection level must meet the requirement of IP68.
SOLUTION
- We employ a brushless planetary geared motor, and in order to meet the customer’s specifications, we modify the motor casing and key internal components to ensure that the motor seamlessly fits within the product’s internal dimensions. Verder, we enhance the motor’s protection level to achieve IP68 certification.
- Given the customer’s concerns about product longevity and the prevention of sparks, we opt for brushless planetary geared motors to guarantee the extended lifespan of commercial warehouse robots.
FOLLOW UP
After receiving our samples, the customer conducted a two-week test, evaluating the motor’s performance in terms of power, koppel, smoothness, and noise under varying loads. The customer provided positive feedback, stating that the motor’s power and other specifications met their requirements.
FEEDBACK
The brushless motor I used previously fell short of our needs, and other sources offered brushless motors that exceeded our budget. Echter, BG Motors provided me with numerous cost-effective options, resolving this significant issue. I plan to purchase more motors from them in the future.
